I've got a pinnacle arkose CX in large, but starting to wonder whether it is the correct size.
Its a large, which according to pinnacles website is 550mm seat tube, though I measure it at 560mm.

I'm 5' 10.5" ish and measured inside leg barefoot at 31.5" right into pelvic bone, with all bits pushed out of the way. I've never thought of myself as having a particularly odd shaped body, but am starting to wondering if my legs are on the short side.
The bike feels biggish, but then I've come from mountain bikes. I'm thinking about flipping the stem to see what difference that makes to reach or swapping for a shorter stem, but my other issue is the standover.
With both feet on the floor, and my shoes on, my bits are resting on the top bar. Not uncomfortably so, but resting nonetheless. If I move everything out the way I've got about and inch between the pelvic bone and the frame.
Looking at Pinnacle's own geometry they are using 5'10" as the cutover from M to L, so I'm right in the middle of the M and L sizes.
The standovers are 796mm for M and 820mm for L. (my inside leg = 31.5" is 800mm)
So even if I'd gone for a medium presumably I'd still be resting bits on the top tube? Even a small is showing 777mm (30.6") standover, so even with shoes I still wouldn't be clear (remember 31.5" measured right into pelvic bone)
So, what is going on? Does nobody bother with having clearance, or are the pinnacle CX bikes a tall frame? Of indeed, am I a short ar$&.
I noticed the same on other bikes I was looking at (boardman CX/decathlon tribans), even though in all cases the assistant reckoned any smaller and the bike would be too small.
I should say none of this is causing me much of an issue. When I stop I naturally just lean the bike onto one foot slightly. I suppose I'm worried in case I have an issue where I need to get off quick.
Seat height is good, and post sticking out of frame around 4".
I'm using it mainly for road use rather than any offroad, so can someone put my mind at rest that I have the right size?
Thanks
