I was just watching good ol' ski Sunday earlier....how much f**king fun does bob-sleighing look like? I'd love to give that a go.

I would also like to have a go on Amy Williams...but that's another story.

Always fancied a ride in a bobsleigh, must be great fun. And although I might put it slightly differently to you I agree that Amy Williams is lovely

Absolutely...it's one thing flying down a hill at 100+km in a metal bobsleigh..another doing it on what is essentially a tray..head first.

It's pulling the sledge back up to the top again that's the real bummer from what I remember, unless they've got some easy way nowadays.

It can be done!! La Plagne in France has a bob track, and so does Igls in Austria.

I'm convinced that whoever came up with the modern bobsled track just one day decided that he didn't really like gravity anymore and wanted to make physics his plaything.

anyone else read "ski sunday" and start humming the theme tune?

So, what's stopping you, go and do it! I believe its possible in St Moritz but you might have to be a member. Also available at Whistler if you happen to be in the area. I'm sure others are available.

Looks easier but I reckon more lethal is World Ice Cross (aka red bull crashed ice). Like BMX but on skates and no wheels!!
