Does anyone know if you can PIN protect the record and series link functions in Sky+?
My little 'un is constantly filling the planner, and I seem to spend most evenings deleting them.
I know you can PIN protect what can be watched, but can you PIN protect recording in the first place?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can PIN-protect the record function. This is a complete and utter pain in the jacksy, as far as I'm concerned.

I'd love to be proved wrong.

Unfortunately you can only restrict content you watch there is no way of setting a pin protect for the planner. Couple of things you could try depending on how clever he is press the TV button on the remote it is now nothing but a remote for a TV so will not operate the sky box just press the sky button to toggle back even my wife is fooled by this - the other is to buy a duplicate remote £5 off ebay and put the original somewhere else the duplicate would not have any batteries in or you could put batteries in covering the contacts with tape you can say to little your waiting for sky to come and repair it

If its any consolation when they get older you dont get a choice other than the bedroom TV but at least the problem will go away then:tongue:
