I occasionally ride to Council meetings and would like to be inconspicuous in regular looking trousers, whilst still being comfy riding up the road. Next black stretch jeans have been OK but my cambium saddle does tend to eat the crotch area and also can be tight causing an uncomfortable bollock tweaking sensation.
Any suggestions for a 6'1" male that weighs 120kg?
Budget £30-£75
I have tried wearing lycra padded shorts underneath, and this was a bit better although my parts felt quite compressed.

Look forward to the hive mind's thoughts.

Farah with the elastane material, or the Chums equivalent.

I've been wearing trousers bought from Arco for the last twenty years. Working outside, whatever the weather and then cycling home.

Tended to last around a year, with a 1,000 miles a month cycling.

Look for trousers made from a tough cotton-nylon blend, like the ones used in hiking or travel pants. Brands like Fjällräven, Craghoppers, or Dickies might have options. The fabric is more durable and slides better on a saddle than stretch denim. Go for a straight or relaxed fit to avoid the tweaking issue. stay in budget.
