I'm trying to make screenshots of an unusually important WhatsApp conversation, and I can't find how to do it. I've come across some instructions, but they don't work on my phone.

Is there anywhere that has a list of options? It's a Samaung Galaxy A8 from 2018 if that helps.

Usually on the galaxy devices, it is press power and volume down simultaneously.

It certainly is on both my tablet and my phone (which are both Galaxy)

So you've tried the usual {power button +volume down button}? It may have been changed to something different in the settings.

Yay, just tried that, sweep left to right, screenshot taken. A lot easier

After some experimentation and restarting the phone several times, I finally got the exact right combination of buttons... many thanks.

Also, thank goodness I had my PIN written down...
