Saturday afternoon GF and I were on our way back to our B&B in Scarborough when we saw a group of cyclists coming up from the beach towards the Spa. We had been walking all day and went into the tram to ride up to the cliff top. The cyclists also came into the tram station and 4 got into the tram with their bikes (2 Ribbles, 1 Frondiest and a Claud). I sniffed but detect no wiffy odour amiss. When we left the tram GF, apart from telling me off for staring at the bikes also said she hadn't smelled anything either. Cyclists had obviously been out for the day or they would have cycled back up to to top and were in a more confined space than the pub in the New Forest. Maybe southerners have a higher developed sense of smell or the pub is run by a group of t**ts.
