My dinner (sausages and mash) is cooking downstairs while I chat to you lot. Every time the smoke alarm goes off, I nip down and turn the sausages. Seems to be working ok so far.;)
Making the gravy is going to be tricky though.:eek:

Yes, I know, but I didn't get home from work until half past ten. I nearly always eat around this time of night, then sit up until about three in the morning.

I used be on the forum and cooking porridge for breakfast when I was in Jiangyin, China. After the second saucepan was destroyed I gave up the practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminds me of when I was at sea, the Minerva alarms would go off, followed by a pipe for the "standing sea fire party to close up on the junior rates rec space" and we would all know that the duty watch had just burnt their toast. If it happened too often the toaster would mysteriously disappear over the side....
