Snow - Again !!!

Woke up to an inch of the stuff this morning....... not again !!!!!

So much for hoping to be back on the road bike.

Back on the MTB for a pleasant off road route. The main roads were a black slushy mess - horrible stuff, oh and they had not been gritted as this snow wasn't forecast !!!!

Riding in this morning: Snow.

We had snow grains falling most of yesterday but there is barely a dusting to show for it.

Had a tiny amount of snow yesterday afternoon but didn't settle thank gawd.
Woke up this morning looking forward to my first commute in 3 weeks and it was peeing down with rain. However by the time I got out of the door it had stopped. And blimey your body does tell you when you haven't been on the bike for that amount of time.

Snow here too ! Bike loaded up with recycling stuff so it gripped well.

I like my road bike - so it was car and gym at dinner for me today!

Gutted that the snow reappeared though - they've 'forecast' rain for tonight so hopefully that will clear it - we hope, please.

I am commuting late as I'm on night shift and am hoping to use the road bike, ta.

What's it like out there now ?. Main roads were clear, if slushy at 8.00am, so should be good to go now.

It's all melted off the car park now.

It was quite cold last night and was clear for a while up until about 10 o'clock and then the clouds came in. It looked like we had a VERY light dusting sometime during the early hours but it wasn't too bad at all and it all seems to have melted now. The main worry if for ice on the roads because of the freezing temps last night.

I found that North East Bristol was pretty clear (virtually nothing on the ground and maybe a few flakes on the cars), but the further West I went across Bristol, the deeper it got. Maybe 3cm at work.

6 inches of the bloody stuff this morning, then it carried on snowing as i left at 7.15am. got to rochdale and it started raining, so most of it gone now. the flakes this morning were huge, i looked like a mobile snowman. i love goretex!!

Accuweather and BBC said clearly skies with rain in the afternoon in Derby today. Had snow and hail blasted directly into my face on my way in this morning.

Snowing up ere in Hyde right now and has been since around 7am , its not landed/settled though, suspect its too warm too, that said, I have Marathon Winters (Smug Mode Off)

Thick sleet this morning I could hardly see where I was going especially descending. My hat had turned from black to White by the time I got in. Still I was the only one in for half hour, one up on the motorists at work lol. The roads have been chaotic! According to the local radio.
