Yay - got a smattering of it this morning. MTB out, down the Trans Pennine and totally covered in mud !

What a way to get to work !

Snow forecast here but more sleet, came on my mtb but wished I'd of just used my road bike. Don't think the snow is going to make any impact round ere.

bike at home-tram in. Have to pick up daughter from nursery today so can't risk doing so on the bike.

Hmmm, looked at the forcast last night and decided it will be ok to ride in....rechecked teletext at 6:30am no change.
I had about two miles of the commute left with snow into my face and a black bianchi with no mudguards to draft.
I now have a frost covered hat on the radiator and I'm watching the snow fall, hmmmmm dam you BBC.

Got home just before 7am, no snow just a very light bit of rain, by the time I'd got ready for a few hours kip at 7.30 there was a light dusting of snow trying to settle.
Woke up just now and it is all gone, panic over

Off the bike at the moment, it hasn't been out of the shed for over a week.
Bloody asthma is playing silly beggars, probably not helped by the fact we've been decorating and the whole house smells of paint fumes.

Braved the snow and sleet this morning... Got into work to find only icy cold water coming out the shower

Certainly a bracing start to the day!

Snow studs came out this morning for their forst proper use.
Although the roads only had a small covering of wet slush, I felt much more secure with those tyres (compared to if I had chosen to take the road bike).

The only regret: I shouldnt have worn fingerless gloves

Had a snow shower here this morning, lasted about five minutes.

Rode into M/cr centre this afternoon in some light sleet which wasn't too bad but the ride into work tonight will be more interesting, Forecast is for dry on the way in then very cold during the night (below freezing) and some precipitation of one sort or another at home time in the morning.
