Dose any one use Salopettes for snowboarding/skiing on there bike?? I went to the snowdome yesterday for some snowboarding lessons absolutely loved it.

The Salopettes that I hired from them were brilliant keep my dry and warm for the whole session. Woundering if they would be any good to me on my commutes to work? I ride for half hour so not having padded seat and the flapping around dosen't bother me a great deal as its only a relatively short journey. I'd only use them in extream cold/wet days ( like the weather now ), But I guess they may have a boil in a bag effect?

Yes, you will melt and dribble onto the road. Get some proper shorts and tights. If you want a cheap solution buy cycle shorts and Ron Hill Tracksters or Bikesters.

no way would that work...

although the other way round, a pair of bibshorts works a treat under your snowboard kit...padding for when you are sitting on the lifts as well!
