I would guess "down south", they are the only ones who would post to report falling snow.

It snowed here very heavily at 3pm for about five minutes.

We got a coating this morning and there was plenty of falling stuff to ride through, it's only worth reporting here because of the paucity of the covering and the trouble that cars had dealing with it. My ride to work smelt of rubber.

It wasn't big flakes in Manchester. It was mean, hard little ones that bloody hurt on the face :-)

just been out, the snow has half melted then frozen solid, really slippy. it's foggy but my bike had a layer of ice over everything, it was difficult braking as the brakes had frozen solid. folding it get in the house (normally in garage but need to defrost) was difficult as the seat pin was frozen solid. i've seen freezing fog but this is the worst i've seen, weird.

Good covering here this morning which thawed by 11. Rode out to Buckstones this afternoon, and at about half four I got caught out in a virtual whiteout on the A640.

Weird that,saw no sign of any snow coming home at 10pm til I got 8 miles in,then tell tale signs of it on the grass verges near home,starting to ice up too got a bit hairy there for a minute.
