DVD is on the shelf.

But theres a comic book? Why have you been keeping this to yourself and not told me before? Eh?

Those Left Behind

Comes between the series and the film, and explains the changes such as Book not being on board.

There's actually a second - though I haven't read it. It's called Better Days and I must place an order.

 I'm chilled bud, just replying to previous questions and statements

Shame your body won't let you ride without you hands on the bars - gives the writs a small respite and a chance to expand the lungs

I tend to stand my ground more than I ever used to. There are 3 pinch points on my 2.5 mile commute. I can hear cars approaching, and check my mirror. Sure enough, even though I am in primary they just have to get past. Got one big time yesterday; uphill double white lines into a pinch point, I was stood up pushing a big gear and not hanging around. Pillock in silver focus just has to get past, head-on into oncoming traffic, locks up seeing keep left sign on island, can't get back in 'cos of 'your's truly'

I should have braked and pulled to the side to let him through, as he seemed hell bent on not wasting what would have been 10 seconds sat behind me. That was my fault and I will accept responsibility for it.

He, on the other hand, should not have pushed for an overtake on double whites, on the brow of a hill into oncoming traffic at a keep left sign.

Shouting is a common trait of cyclists. Something to do with adrenaline, or is it endorphins?
My own habit is singing.

"Winnie-the-Pooh,
Winnie-the-Pooh,
Tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff.
He's Winnie-the-Pooh.
Winnie-the-Pooh.
Willy, nilly, silly, old bear".

Reminds me why I cycled Land's End to John O'Groats in seven days for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

I realized that I have a habit I do without even thinking. Every time on my commute when I go on a bridge over one of the biggest highways in the state, I always -without fail -catch myself shouting out "so long, suckers!!!" to the lines of stationary traffic below. Fortunately, usually there aren't people around who hear me shouting to myself.

It's almost become a rite of passage for me on my commute now, like a superstitious thing.... Anybody do anything else?

I do that every morning on the cycle path I use which passes a busy road with traffic stacked up going towards Chelmsford. I don't tend to shout and the term I use is 'muppets' rather than 'suckers'.

I especially do this when I hear the honking of car horns - just ahead of the part I pass, the busy road narrows from two lanes to one, and no-one gives way.

Kills me - all single occupancy cars and they are killing each other to get ahead in a queue which isn't going anywhere anyway!!!

LOL, he's teasing me, as I've done this several times to bus garages on my route. I reckon they really deserve such thanks too, great driving and courtesy. I had another set of great bus drivers tonight, we were giving way to each other, loads of courtesy, and a couple of friendly toots when they pulled into their bus garage.

habits

Going back to no hands, I can ride no hands and tend to do so to have a little rest. Can still peddal at the same time, but the roads i use are back roads, with little traffic and no coppers.
Is there a law or something against this?

I have also started to shout or glare at drivers who are inconsiderate or cut me up ;)

Moose..don't worry I can't do no-hands..... been riding road bikes for 22 years...I don't possess the best handling skills, but do have a good ability to go fast in a straight line (up or down)...hence being a TT'er for years.....still can't do it......but can't be bothered trying.....
