Puncture proof tyres!

Got on my bike this morning and...'prup, prup prup'. Flat back tyre :0( Thankfully I just stuck on a wheel from my other set so I wasn't late for work but disappointed I must say. I ran two sets of Nimbus and only got one puncture, when the tyre was very worn, but this set are brand new. Heads will roll, unlike my tyre ;0)

Common misconception  Puncture PROOF !!!
My wife says when (rarely) i get a puncture... i thought they were puncture proof ?
No...they're puncture RESISTANT...not proof.

I had a bike when i was a kid..with solid tyres. maybe that's the way to go

Was it the path in Plains? I'm amazed none of the CC crowd got one there on PfS.

Well, I told Magnatom to go up the road and not use the path, guess he didn't like you guys enough to pass it on ;0)

Yes, it's the new style Nimbus. Don't know what caused it, I'll see when I get home.

Yes, I know they're not 'puncture' proof, I'm just having a moan ;0) A flat tyre when it's freezing cold, you're standing there with you gloves, kit and backpack on and you need to leave for work right now is not something that makes you smile.
