I started to do bike repairs earlier in the year, have gathered together a lot of chain rings and rear cogs, was thinking about putting some kind of sculpture together or maybe a weather vein, Does anyone on here do that sort of thing, looking for ideas really. i hate wasting things, some of the chain rings look really good. What you got?

Chain rings and similar get screwed to the bike shed wall as decoration. The rest goes in the bin.

The worn out metal bits go to the scrap man, the rest go in the bin.

I have various cranksets under the sink and in tins on top of kitchen cupboards. I like @Drago 's idea of scrweing them to the bike shed wall.

An allotment near me has an igloo-shaped structure, made entirely from old bike wheels.

I just leave them laying around the house and eventually the tidying up pixies seem to dispose of them.

Or I leave the really little bits in my pocket and retrieve them from the washing machine filter once its filled up and they have rusted together into modern art.

I must confess that this probably isn't the best approach for marital bliss though!
