The Archway roundabout is a farking terrifying place to be whether you're on a bike, on foot or even in a car. Hell, I once had a scary moment whilst navigating it as a passenger on a bus! (due to ice). Even when I was a kid I didn't like having to cross roads there.

Long overdue. Will be there in spirit! And will try to encourage others to go.

was a good ride.

quote of the evening has to be " Gaz has a big pole" closely followed by cyclingmikey being berated by some woman for riding too fast in Richmond park , purely because he was wearing a London Dynamo kit.

spectacle of the evening was seeing Chris Boardman trackstanding a Boris bike at a zebra crossing at Lambeth Bridge. I hope he found a pub. the runner up is shared between the guy in the Bentley plate no 88DD ( a good private plate for a tit) and the nobber in a white tabtop in the mini who tried to recreate the CM in brazil.

a damn good ride and approx 5000 cyclists. imagine what another 5K cars on the road would look like !

I really wish I had heard about this earlier, but 1830 is cutting it close as I would come from Ilford and don't finish till 1730

Awesome to meet you! Yeah, that woman was funny, her face after I said I wasn't a member and didn't ride in Richmond Park. Either she realised she put her foot in it, or she thought I was lying. Even cyclists can be bigots.

Traffic Droid will henceforth be known as Dr. Oid, thanks to the number plate he now has on his backpack.

I was there with a couple of friends. We were toward the front. Seeing bikes still coming onto Westminster bridge as we got to the end of Lambeth Bridge... the number of people there was simply awesome.

the front might depart at 18.30 ( and last night it was closer to 19.00) but the rear didn't start moving for a good 15-20 mins and it wasn't hard to spot the event
