I heard a story this winter when I was in Australia, that a shark had been caught in Sydney harbour and was being shown on display in a large aquarium.

It had been there a day or two, when it regurgitated a human leg, just as a group of school kids were staring at it!

Always thought chasing footballs, walking and swimming was stupid....... a bike can get you there quicker.........

It was a Tiger shark though, not a great white or a Sh4rkybloke

Friends of my wife emigrated to Australia. For the first year they kept sending back irritating pictures of the kids frolicking in the surf, enjoying sunny BBQs and so on. I had a feeling that my wife was a little envious. Then it all went quiet and the next thing we heard, they had returned to the UK and taken jobs in Egremeont, Cumbria, only one of the wettest places in Britain.

Turned out somebody they knew had been scoffed by a shark and they had suddenly realised that Australia is full of animals that can eat humans....
