I have quite a few people I have said this too, that perhaps if it is so difficult they ought to extend the ban for life.

To be fair, I've tried quitting for a month it and found it intolerable ....
AND, I've got a fresh supply of Happy Pills too....

Bloody idiots. It's really not difficult unless you had a drinking problem. Good charity though but I would probably do the same as the OP. I don't understand why it is cool to boast about how much you drink and how difficult it will be to stop.

I haven't mentioned to them that they might not have completely ruined their livers and it would be really good for them if they stop drinking so much... but it's not my place to tell them, they're grown-ups [both mid-50s].

I sponsored the bloke because it is a good charity and he does need to change his lifestyle but now he's berating other people because his wife has got more sponsorship then him... I kid you not.
