From my Winter bike.
Cosmetically not too bad - silver levers and paddles - one hole in the hood but that won't get any worse.
Left hand - for doubles it is great. 4 clicks up and down so that you change with one sweep.
Right hand - up to 3 clicks per sweep up and down.
The ratchets are fine but worn - you don't get a crisp change but they do work and have plenty of life left.
