[SOLD] For sale: 80's Wes Mason road frame, Reynolds 531, 56cm c-t

I have for sale a year 1983 Wes Mason gentleman's road frame & forks in bullet silver. Frame has some wear from cables etc, but no dents or rust spots.

Details

- Full Reynolds 531 double-butted throughout
- Nice cutout 'Prugnat' lugs
- Campagnolo horizontal rear dropouts (suitable for fixed gear if needed)
- 'Mason' engraved on seatstay caps
- 126mm rear spacing (but there is enough 'spring' to fit a modern 130mm wheel)
- Fits modern recessed allen bolt brake calipers
- Downtube bosses for gear levers or STI cable stops
- Original 1983 era Tange Levin chrome headset fitted and running smoothly
- I will also include a new micro adjust seatpost in silver and new Deda bar tape also in silver

Size: 56cm centre-top
Top tube: 56cm
Headtube: 13cm
English threaded bottom bracket
Requires bottom pull front mech size 28.6mm clamp.

Looking at the prices of 531-tubed frames on ebay, I thought £80 was reasonable.

Or, we can remember him as we remember him. Now if it was a picture of him ogling someone or similar, then yes, it would be in bad taste, but it isn't, so it isn't.

Less of the emotional fascism and character assassination please. Such complete removal of any evidence of people makes me feel a bit uneasy, especially when he's dead and can't answer any allegations against him.

Do you mean that you have a bike with a 531 frame ? Or a Wes Mason with a 531 frame ?

IMO, it is a very reasonable price for such a frame - yes, someone will pay that !
