Two instances of SCR this morning within a few minutes of each other. First one only light SCR, saw a rider behind me join the road I was riding up, a drag/hill(depending on the wind direction), always pulling away but made me put some effort in.
Just a bit later after I have turned around to go back down the same drag/hill, I meet some one who is worth alot of points.
Me, on the heavy hybrid, panniers full of wet weather gear for later, them on a road bike, blue 23mm tyres, spd-sl's and team colours, promap.co.uk, who ever they are, grinding away cycling in the door zone and using the suicide lane at a mini-RAB. Easy victory with me spinning along, making the most of my rare chances although there does seem a large increase in cyclists this year and some of them look very quick.
