Someone has offered me tickets to "tonight at the Palladium" tomorrow. Do I want them?

I've never watched it either. Go along to see how they make an 'as live' tv show. If you find any of the acts entertaining then that's a bonus.

Well, I've seen sketch comedy recorded before, and provided the laughter track. That was interesting as the funniest person was the warm up guy (a very well known comedian) as he had to keep us laughing when they muffed their lines and we had to sit through the same skit 3 or 4 times.

Not as bad as Jackie Chan. I once watched him making a movie for half an hour, and it was just the same 2 seconds of action over and over again. Mind you, he wasn't doing for the audience, but was happy to have us there as the scene was a cooking show being watched by a live audience

If they're free,go! You can always leave and find a good pub nearby

That was my logic. I've said yes. I may have a spare ticket if I can't find anyone unoccupied enough to have nothing to do tomorrow evening.

Is Harry Secombe singing?

Harry Secombe or Harry Hill. One or the other. God, I loved Harry Secombe. Harry Hill, less so.

It could go either way.

No, not either way. It will be bad, or Cyndi Lauper will be on again.

But I'm in. I will complain about my disappointment here tomorrow night.
