Saw them coming in my mirror, held a good primary position, realised I was about to get a fly past, so jinked left just as they got to me.

Here endeth the lesson on why we use primary position.

Who said he got the police to do anything? Glad he reported it though. I've got a 100% success rate at police action over the 2 incidents that I've reported, so it is worth it.

Not always easy, but if you can get a number plate, time, date, location desc of driver, it gives the bobby ammo to throw at the idiot when stopped.

Besides, when I was a bobby, one of my biggest drugs hauls was as a result of someone reporting a car being driven 'anti-socially', I tugged it, smelt the cannabis, and it snowballed from there. His front door was knocked down and loads of cash confiscated.

Report it. You might not get your pound of flesh, but they WILL get tugged as their number will be put on the local force computer, and as soon as it passes an ANPR equipped car, game over.

Once when I was having lager bottles thrown at me and abuse yelled twice, occupants of car urinating in a car park and probably driver DUI, who did I happen to come across a few seconds later? A fairly bored police officer parked up having a few sandwiches who was only too pleased at being given a sporting chance of getting a few idiots and possible drunk driver acting antisocially .
