SON28 - Change from quick relase to through axle?

Hi,

A while back I had some wheels built by DCR - very impressed with them.

Im thinking of getting another front made up but using a dyno hub. I like what I hear about the Son28 for reliability.

The bike that wheel will be on for the next year or two is a standard quick release (Specialized AWOL) but looking to the future I might get a carbon Diverge that has a 12mm through axle.

Can the axles on the SON28 be changed to suit different configurations?

Both SON and SP do their thru-axle dynamo hubs in 15 mm - I don't think there is a 12 mm thru-axle dynamo hub.

You can get adapters to run a 15 mm thru axle wheel in a bike with QR dropouts

I doubt you can convert a QR dynamo hub the other way

I don't think there is a 12 mm thru-axle dynamo hub.

My mistake.

The rear is a 12mm, the front is 15mm.

From my research it seems they cant be converted from one to t`other.
