Went to the dentist today and made them go oh.
You see i have a xmas routine three dvd's go on during the run upto Xmas.

Muppets Christmas Carol
Scrooge
Well in Polar Express the lad gets a sleigh bell from Santa,but he looses it only to find it on Christmas day.And it only rings if you believe in Christmas.
So today i have bought two said bells and some bright red ribbon.My two girls will be 17 and 16 this next year.I hope i will last a long time.but i am going to give them these bells to put on their trees when they have their own places.So to remind them of me at Christmas when i have gone.And when they ring them i will be with them.Mind i am going to hang about till i'm in my nineties,just to annoy them.

Soppy, but sweet.

We still have, and use, the decorations my late Dad made for my first Christmas, when they were too poor to actually afford a tree and used a branch of holly instead.

There's a star, made of card and covered in silver foil, and two parcels - matchboxes covered in paper to look like presents tied up with ribbon. The gold paper he used came from the inside of a box of Benson and Hedges, and he even cut out the red logo and stuck it on to look like sealing wax.

My 22 year old son moved out this year but has told us that he will be back for Christmas and still expects his old Christmas stocking to be put out and filled

That's a lovely idea. Oddly we just watched polar express, for the 10th time in 4 days! The man-cub loves it

22 year old son still wants advent calendars.

All three offspring, youngest is nineteen, still love getting Christmas stockings.

All three insist on the Boxing Day fry up.

I guess he was telling his dentist about the bells? All I ever manage at the dentist is sounding like Chewbacca with haemorrhoids.

I was just having a conversation she asked me if i was ready for Xmas, present wise.As she looks after all four of our teeth.It was then i told her about going into Leeds market to find these bells and why i was doing it.She and her assistant thought it was a really nice idea.
