(i.e. I have two Shimano Sora shifters (brifters, if you will) for rear mech. About 4 yrs ago, my front shifter broke, and I had to buy a pair to replace them. This year, front one broke again, and I've now 'upgraded' to 8 speed (with new rear wheel/block/mech). So, I have these 2 spare shifters. They seem to go on Ebay for about 20-25 quid(??) Though I could only find ones in the US when I did a quick search.

OK doc (I'm dispensing with the lyricism here ), here's some photos. The one on the left in each photo is the 'newer' one (though I think they are identical products). As I said in my first post, it was bought about 4 yrs ago, when the left shifter (for front, double) broke, and LBS had to buy a pair for replacement. So they also put on the then new rear shifter. The one on the right was the one originally on the bike when I got it about 7 yrs ago. Both have done (I estimate) about 2,500 miles worth of shifting, and both were without problems when they were removed from the bike.

Looking around on fleabay, I can only find similar shifters for sale in US, and I reckon a reasonable price would be £25 each one (incl P&P, which will be about a fiver, I think).
