Just driven down to collect my wife from work, on the way, on a terraced residential street I passed a cyclist who was holding decent road position and a few hundred meters I am held by traffic lights, a few other cars queue behind me, I am turning left and indicating for the tight turn. ( there is no other lane than the one I'm in)

The cyclist, I am looking in my door mirrors, is blocked from my view by the other cars, as I set off (having looked in my mirrors) he appears in my left hand blind spot wanting to turn right!

Lucky I didn't flatten him - wonder if I'm on you tube...

You were indicating left...he'd have seen it... if he wanted to turn right shouldn't have been on your left side anyway.... no issue!

 the good thing is... you were aware he was around having already passed him. Most drivers wouldn't have even noticed passing him, being aware of him or been looking out for him having already seen him.

well done you
