Hi,
I've been asked to give a talk as part of the Vamos festival in Newcastle. See my flyer here. It's in Room G.05 of the Daysh Building of Newcastle University at 12:30pm on 31st May 2012.
I want to strike a balance between stories from my trip and encouragement for how to do the same yourself. There will be a number of non-cyclists in the audience and I'd love to tempt them over to our way of thinking...
Can anyone give me any good ammunition to questions like:
What are the best reasons for travelling by bike?
and how to counter the most common excuses not to?
Why is South America such a great place for cycle touring?
I've made a good start but always helpful to have some input from you guys!
