You are a fortunate bunch. Lovely photos as always. I am coming up to Patterdale at Easter 2013 - just like this year but we will need pushchair walks this year - something nice to look forward to. Maybe I will be allowed to bring road bike again to explore a bit, and attempt the Kirkstone pass once more.

Woo! Yay! I have to be honest, most of the pics on previous threads have been a bit bland, but these are great! Have you changed camera or taking more time to compose the shots?

I particularly like the second one. Fun lighting, and you get a good sense of the track's going, from the immediate foreground

Hi Stu,
The ideal for posting a photo of the ride with a link to rest of ride photos on the South Lakes Group website on forums like Cycle Chat, is get folk who do not know about the South Lakes Group, is to get them looking at the ride photos and may look at coming out on ride in future. There also on the ride photo page, a ride report, a link to where you can download ride route and links to cafes that we stop at!

Yes I change my camera at the begining of the year, also the photos are hosted on flicker which I use for posting on cycling forums like this one.

Also play around with different angles when taking photos on rides and try tell the story of the ride via photos, I hope that answer your question.
