spd shoe sizes?

What is peoples experience in buying spd shoe sizes?

keep reading to go a size bigger than what you normally where.

i.e trainers a size 9/spds a size 10????

I've always gone a size bigger in all cycling shoes, and boots too.

FWIW I've had Shimano, Northwave, SIDI & Lake.

Normally a 42, but my Shimano shoes are a perfect 43

Depends on the shoes - I have two pair of Specialized's - the Tahoes I have are a 44, the Sonomas a 43 - really you need to try them on I would normally wear a 9 (43 in trainers)

I find Shimano shoes are a tight fit. Specialized are a larger fit.

I've been looking on e bay all evening for size 9 spd shoes for my 15 year old daughter, but she wants something feminine looking AND fashionable would you believe

Depends on the brand. I got Mavic and went up 1/2 a size from my normal.
