Specialized Crosstrail mudguards

Just ordered one of these and now thinking about a set of mudguards, to protect me from the weather and hopefully provide an element of frame protection, as I intend to use it on gravel/grit and towpaths.

I'm hopefully gauging what other are using and how they get on with their choices.

Any advice is gratefully received(even better it you have any pics with mudguards / racks fitted, so that I can gauge aesthetics)

Where did you order yours from? I have the Crosstrail and have been debating.

Evans Cycles. Price doesn't seem to fluctuate between the dealers as far as I can tell. I was able to redeem a significant amount as they are doubling up tesco clubcard points up to the end of July.
