specialized roubaix v trek domane

I like both of the above bikes simply because they are different to the norm. I must confess I have reservations about the Domane due to the inherent nature of the frame where it has a certain amount of compliance.

Also is the roubaix really that special? A bit like the tricross I can't find a bad review on it.

I am not looking to buy but one of these will replace my equilibrium if I maintain this cycling hobby?

Thanks

The Roubaix is that good and then some IMHO specially when compared to the Domane

One of the mags did a test on both recently, the roubaix got 94% and the domane 95%.

I do like the idea od that trek iso-speed thingy, but it does seem like something that could fatigue, or need replacing.

I have the roubaix and Im plannng on getting the specialized cobl-gobl-r seatpost that should give a similar feel to the is-speed, but should it fail its only a seatpost to replace (and hopefully that woul be under warrenty)

Saw a review of the roubaix sl4 , and it is one of the few bikes lately that i read the review more than once , a snip at £8500.... yea i know vengedetta can buy one with loose change but its a lottery win for me and it would be on the short list and i can even forgive them the curved top tube

what I was trying to allude to.was that both have tech not seen on other frames, elastomer inserts and the ISO thing.
