Spenditis - Do you suffer from it and what is the cure?

I don't know why but this time of year always results in me getting a bout of Spenditis - that is, the almost irresistable urge to spend money I haven't got on things I don't need.

On the list at the moment are:

A Ducati: £7000
A Plasma TV: £600 (which of course would need a Blu-Ray player and surround sound system)
A Wii: £250
A Shed: £600

And of course a new bike but I have as yet, managed to resist the urge.

Does anyone else get this? What do you do to resist? Apart from willpower and the threat of the bailiffs?

I feel like consumerism's bitch sometimes.

I do get like that but focus on maths and cycling or just getting out the house more during free time. I think anything intense that takes your mind off it really, whatever works for you.

P.S. Thought you said you'd need a tv in a year or two?

This is it, I think it's to do with the nights drawing in. I don't get out so i spend my time on the interweb looking at Stuff.

The air-cooled 2 valve bikes are lots of fun. The black sport classic looks nice.
