A few of us on here bought the said bike around the same time.

I have just popped mine into the lbs.This is the second time this year i have had a knocking/ticking sound in/near the bottom bracket.
Anyone else had this problem please.

The BB on mine had to be replaced within a year as it had seized. The replacement I have had for near a year and it's still running smooth.

Over the last year I have a had a few sounds that appeared to be BB related. I was even prompted to replace my BB once, but the sound has never turned out to actually come from there. Pedals seem to be the biggest culprit ime. Take them out, grease the threads and replace for a very quick and easy way to rule those out.
