Spring/Summer Gloves

Any recommendations for a good long finger glove and also mitts?

Ride on road for 2hrs x 5/6 days per week so need ones that reduce discomfort in wrists and arms. I do get a bit of numbness with the miles I do.

Waterproof not essential as could just wear my winter ones on a wet day I guess.

I like minimalist gloves like the LG Zero-Cal gloves. Even with heavy mileage they are great. But, tbh, if you get numbness, it is likely bike setup you want to be looking at rather than gloves.

I like the specialized range particularly the BG Comp, but you do end up with some strange suntan patterns if you go brown...

Planet X have some half decent ones at reasonable prices. I have a pair of these which seem fine down to freezing.

Yes, you end up with a small tan spot on the back of your hands

yes - and also a larger are that looks like a chessboard across the top of your hands as well We called them my tiger spots!
