Nevertheless we would still get more back on the investment. It's so easy to overlook some of DZ's real time decision making that moved last Friday's ride from being a potential disaster to a heroic procession to the Rose. And it is a ride, a group of people travelling together or close together, not a series of badly designed arrows and losing control on the detail - whether food, toilets or people who need to be 'socialised' into responsible riding.
Commercialism and bike rides are not the best of bedfellows ...
