Stage II Tour of Britain, Warrington

Watched the Tour come through only about four miles from where I live. Thought I'd find a very quiet spot to view, a long bend to see them coming. So did lots of other people. It was really exciting, the police motorcyclists really enjoyed it, they were waving to us all. It was throwing it down for the sprint a couple of miles up the road, saw it on the box later. Still on a high from watching it.

Did anyone else watch it?

I think(i heard it on radio but nothing to be found on web) that it passes through the Clitheroe and Pendle(east Lancs) area tomorrow. I might skive off work and go and watch it.

I didn't watch it, but i did panic. i had to take the damned train home!
their route down holcroft lane from culcheth and onto the a57 effectively cut off my road route home completely
i had to pick the kids up from school and there was no way i was getting back in time.
damn shame i couldn't stay and watch tho.
