Visited Halfords this afternoon looking to buy a Haynes Manual for my Toyota Aygo and found that their shelf stock only went as big as the Yaris.
Not wanting to leave without checking if they had any out back, I found a member of staff, a lady who admitted not being sure, but pointed out the man I needed to speak to.... as "if anyone would know - he would".
Man checked shelf and confirmed there were none there
then went and got the Haynes index out.
I watched him check the "T" for Toyota section and he confirms that they don't do a manual and went off on an explanation of there obviously not being enough Aygos on the road to make it viable for Haynes to strip and rebuild an Aygo, just to make a manual.... Okay ??
As the Aygo shares its platform with the Citroen and Peugeot, I asked him to check to see if there was a listing for the Citroen C1.
I watched him go through the entire "S" for Sitroen section, before he closed the book and said "No they don't do one of those either".
I remained polite enough to thank him for his efforts and returned home, where I ordered one of the elusive Haynes Toyota Aygo manuals online !!
