Forgot about Robert Picardo in 'First Contact'
'Scotty' was trapped in a Transporter buffer, & was rematerialized by Geordie (wasn't Levar Burton one of the stars of 'Roots')
Tim Russ (Tuvok in 'Voyager') is in 'the 'Generations' film, as a Bridge Officer
With regard to DS9, I think one of my favourite episodes is 'Far Beyond The Stars', where Sisko has the dream/alternate reality, that he is in 1950's America, as a sci-fi writer, with other cast members without prosthetics
