Didn't want to hijack Speicher's thread, but if anyone is within commuting distance of City of London and has recently left school/college with reasonable O & A-level grades (or is expected to get reasonable grades) and would like a job as an Office Junior at a law firm with great prospects and a market salary give me a shout. Candidate is only usually expected to last a year or two before taking a better job elsewhere or being promoted internally. Last candidate went off to train to be a legal secretary but also got offered an accounts role here.

Sure dom, if people fit the bill (ie school/college leaver) and are happy starting out this way then that's fine. It's a good route to becoming a legal secretary/paralegal/legal accounts (client cashier/accounts payable cashier / biller) or librarian. For those with aptitude you could even consider it a working gap year and then go onto a degree or law school. We have had people go on to greater things.
