I now have my Holdsworth fixed-wheel frame.
It has an 1 and 1/8th steerer. BUT I have 2 questions:

1. Can I get a clamp that holds the system together to then allow me to feet an Ahead to Quill converter? This will enable me to use some old Quill stems and Bars that I have taking-up space in the parst bin.
OR
2. Can I get at 1 and 1/8th stem that will allow me to fit old-stylee 1" handlebars?

Cheers

So it's a threadless fork, yes?
There used to be a headset from YST that worked on threadless forks but didn't need a wossname, so you could then put a quill stem in the empty 'ole. However (1) I think it was for 1" steerers and (b) it's up there with rocking horse poo. I needed one on my Flevo Oke ja some years ago and struck lucky when someone had a NOS one in his Box of Doom.

Actually, it seems Velo Orange have some solutions .... a 1 1/8 stem that can be sleeved for 1" bars .... it's a compromise I can live with.
