As long as I breathe, I attack.
What, the old men?

I have a bike that gets masses of interest from passers by. I would imagine their thinking "who's just left this rusty pile of scrap here"

Still gets me to the shops and back though, although I admit to having woried about whether I was going to get home or not a few times as it has a tendency to make some peculiar "I'm about to have a catastrophic failure" sort of noises from time to time.
Some people can`t take a joke , hence the smiley......

I was on one of Adams amazing adventures with a few other peeps. This time to Dover. We stopped at Andy's Snacks in Rochester for a bacon roll and a cuppa. We locked the bikes up to the railings opposite.

Now those of you how know User10571 know's that he has patented the User10571 Banana transportation solution... as such

So we were munching and supping when we noticed some people having a nose at the bikes. Especially User10571s.
User10571 got up, walked to the door, opened it and bellowed across to the people.

"STEP AWAY FROM THE BANANA!"

They did..................

I used to drink in the Castle int he Air in Fareham, as it was convenient to wait for the wife's train

Unfortunately there is a guy in there who thinks he is being filmed by bicycle lights!

It really freaks him out if a bike with lights gets parked near the smoking shelter.

He has been known to move or try and move bikes so that the lights can't see him.

I now drink elsewhere

Years ago we used to use a pair of two way radios when touring. I would often nip ahead to recce, or divert to a church and leave the SO on the main route

They meant we could keep in touch

However much more fun was leaving one locked in the pannier during lunch stops. Anyone gets too close and you could give warnings.

"You have breached my safety perimeter, please stand away from the bicycle"

I am not a member, I am a free man !!!!!!
Sitting in the pub, having lunch with my brother, bike outside where I can see it.
Two blokes, having a smoke, and they take an interest in my bike. Having a good look.
That's fine, they can look. Then one gets a bit closer and is leaning over it - still not touching. I'm not particularly happy, but I guess he's not doing anything wrong????
He steps back, looks at it some more, goes back for another look.
Now they weren't chavvy young blokes who looked like they carried wire cutters in their back pockets or I'd have been out there like a shot, just two old blokes having an afternoon pint. But still, I wasn't happy.
Then he stands back and reaches out a foot, under the frame and nudges the chain behind it's guard. WTF?! Who even does that??
I was all for going out and telling him to back off, but my brother stopped me.
Then he leans in for another look before stepping away.
I went to the loo, and they'd gone when I came back -if they'd still been out there when I went to get the bike I'd have been having words, especially when I realised he'd flicked the gears and moved them!!

You should ave gone over n laid some moves on em init :boxing:
