Stolen - Bristol - Specialized HRXC

My bike was nicked last night from outside the Frenchay Campus of UWE. Black Specialized HRXC. black, fixed front forks, hard tail mtb with slicks. also pannier rack on the back and bar bag attachment on the handlebars, double water bottle cages and mud guards on back and crud guard type thing on the front. Bike was in good nick and well cared for.

Just seen this notice - I don't know if you have seen it too - looks like yours wasn't the only one to go:

Police Notice

On the 13th October several bicycles were stolen from various locations
across the University. At least seven bikes were taken and possibly more.
In addition at least another two bikes were taken yesterday, 14th October
from Frenchay campus and one was stolen today from Bower Ashton.

Also earlier on today around 13:15 a student was walking along the cycle
path from Lockleaze to the UWE when at the Lockleaze end of the path he
was threatened by a male. The male had a baseball bat hidden up his top
and demanded the students wallet and phone. The student continued walking
whilst being followed by the male and eventually the students friend
turned up and the male walked away. Please be aware if using this pathway
especially now the dark nights are closing in.

Yep had the notice pop up in my email. A friends bike was nicked this evening too....
