But receiving stolen goods, and that includes goods which one might reasonably understand/infer to be stolen "if it is too good to be true then it probably is too good to be true", is an offence in itself. Ti Bromptons don't sell for £50 unless they are stolen.What would be the difference between someone stealing a bike to give it to someone else, and someone simply gifting that person a bike legally? Either way, the recipient of the bike might not have a clue about the bike.
