I've got 3, maybe 4 days in August to get away for some bikepacking. Where would you suggest in the Southwest of England or South Wales?
Thanks

On road or off-road?

If off-road these are a couple of routes I've come across that I'd love to do one day. I've no direct experience of these routes, but growing up in North Devon, I do know the area well, and these look to be interesting.

I'm just back from a weekend in the Cotwolds, we did two road based day rides (and a days walking). Loads of very pretty country lanes to cycle on and quite easy to avoid to heavy traffic main roads. Obviously its quite hilly in places, but some canny route planning and skirting to the edges of the main hilly areas can keep the elevation profile reasonably sensible. Loads of good cafes pubs etc to stop off for coffee lunch etc if that's your thing, and not too far from brizzle.

Thanks all. I was looking at the various options and was leaning towards KAW. However, the wife has just informed me she wants me to meet her in Ilfracombe at the end of my trip so weighing up taking the train to Plymouth and cycling the West Country Way, splitting off at Exford towards Ilfracombe or KAW and taking the train from Salisbury to Barnstaple at the end of the trip. I highly doubt my MTB build will be finished by then so planning on taking the gravel bike.

Both routed out of Stow, which involves an end of day climb. The climb out of Broadway was quite a slog, the cafe at Temple Guiting was excellent. Day 2 lunch was Cotswold distillery which was excellent, coffee that day was a garden centre a mile or so on from Rollright stones, which was fine, without being wonderful.
