I have now had a stinky cold and throat infection for 10 days. It might be getting a little better, but the odd thing I can smell and taste virtually nothing (beyond sweet, sharp, salty, spicy, and my nose did detect a faint hint of fried chicken at the O2 last night, so progress).
One good thing, last night I had to walk through an area that I know is used as a public toilet by disgusting individuals and on a warm night would surely absolutely stink of p*ss and I couldn't smell it!
It is very weird, anyone else had this, how long for the senses to reappear? I am taking antibiotics for the throat now. I'd quite like to be less bunged up too and be able to ride a bike comfortably!
