Chilled day at the coast after a weekend in aberdovey.

Pub fun and now in the hot tub whilst the current wife sorts dinner.

Pub fun meant we had time to look at holidays, anyone been to Goa?

I like climbing; there's a rather large climbing centre in the village which I occasionally frequent, but I don't get free soloing. It's just reckless. How does the wanton removal of safety increase the achievement and the spectacle?

Anyhow, it looks pretty grim over here and it's not saying: come on out and have a good time.

Dad taxi and maths revision may punctuate the likely highlight of coffee.
Not for you then?

I used to do a fair amount of what is now called free soloing in my younger days. It was just called soloing then we Brits didn’t need the free bit as it was taken for granted you were free climbing. Climb without a rope allows you to move faster and your rhythm doesn’t get interrupted by stoping to place protection. Also you get a greater buzz providing you survive.
Free soloing is an Americanism.
