I think you won today pinno, photonic is in jockland so time difference has got him.🤭 Currently warm and sunny here, going to local car show shortly and doing bugger all else today.

wait hours for someone to start the daily thread, then two come along at once, typical

decline into winter darkness has begun

rode ride, swigged coffee, hoping the cloud will go away during basking hours, bubbly later

Morning folks,
Posting here as I believe this is indeed the earlier thread. Made it to my preferred holiday location, drive wasn’t too bad and the car behaved itself.
Ground looked very dry when we got here, apparently it rained throughout May, but hadn’t rained since. That changed about 4am with a spectacular thunderstorm. Sun is now burning through the clouds.
Need to pop out and get supplies soon and grab a coffee at my friend‘s former bar. Doubt I’ll get credit now.
Then some serious lounging

Warm 'n' breezy here, luckily not quite as sweaty as yesterday. Will be riding round NW Kentshire early afternoon, hopefully riding mate can stay the full course this time.

Ooh, 2x Sundays threads, the nimbys will be fumin', I can hardly wait.

100% pure Colombian #1 consumed, looking out at a bit of murkiness and windiness, which means it won't be quite so sweaty betty outdoors today, while I again potter about doing minimal Stuff. Must get organised enough to do a bigger than the usual stop off shop in the Coop and qualify for my £10 credit.

it's actually beans who does it, pinno just takes the credit

Yes, I fight the war against flies by proxy.
I don't think Pn69 frequents the best thread on any forum anywhere.

Morning
Just had humongous rain shower here, now the sun is out.
Ride to the Sun (Carlisle to Cramond) completed by 0300, then bacon roll and watch the dawn, bed by 0500. Amazingly missed the thunderstorms and it was a dry ride. Just slowly waking up now.

Afternoon
Just finished my post ride crumpets. Todays club run was a very windy and showery 64 miles. There was much angst because the ride got changed at the last minute due to the proposed cafe being closed. So most had the wrong route on their Garmins, however as I haven’t worked out yet how to download a route. I tend to scrutinise the route and remember, sort of old school like.
So we did a route that I thought was the route and all got back safely.
Later once the shopping has been delivered will be a grape style recovery drink.
