Please can somebody talk me out of clicking the checkout button on my shopping basket...?

I am not really happy they would charge me £12 P&P when I may spend 1500 either!
Plus, I cannot really afford it but I want it so, so bad...

Also considering a Cervelo R3 from CRC for a hundred quid more or a Planet X N2A for 700 less!
Planet X N2A mate. Highly talked of, well reviewed and better value for money. Especially if money is tight.
The Cannondale is a damn nice frameset but is it worth £700 more?? Is it even better??

There are other options too for your £££............

I don't really like the team colourscheme... else I might!

Musa - I have considered a CAAD10 but wanted a full carbon Supersix or Evo. I may get a regular Supersix with Apex for <1200 and flog the shifters & mechs, dunno.

Sleep on it indeed. Then have another look tomorrow. Planet X, ribble, Canyon, Rose etc etc all do fantastic bikes for the £££. The trade off is internet shopping. The + though is value for money. If you know what you want and what you are looking for then there is not much to go wrong.

IMO, yes. Whilst subject to a lot of sales patter, it is probably a fair chunk better than any PX frame. It is incredibly light and has the best stiffness to weight ratio ever recorded apparently (I cba to check the source out etc, I don't care that much, The Supersix Evo would be my carbon frame of choice if I had the cash regardless of the reality of the claim)!

Also Cannondale service is exceptional, lifetime warranty (none of this 2 year only bollocks), crash replacement scheme, upgrade scheme, fast response to enquiries, available on the end of the phone, UK based rep's.

I won't pretend that I am not a Cannondale fanboy though, I own 2, both alu and carbon.

We all have opinions buddy. I wouldn't have it any other way.
I have a Cannondale Cx bike and like it lots.

It's a lot of money just for a frameset and would be wasted if it were not kitted out with high end components and decent finish kit. That brings the total £££ way up!
In terms of racing and feel i don't think, imo, that the price difference is justified. I think it is more down to brand name. The frame comes from the same continent after all and no doubt costs Cannondale a fraction of the resale price.

I like the Evo. I just couldn't justify it.
