Sunday morning I did three laps of Richmond Park, normally I don't bother timing myself. However, having recently purchased a GPS (Garmin eTrex Vista HCX) I decided to use it. I paid no attention to it while I was riding and trundled along at my usual pace. Today after uploading my track information I was very surprised to discover my lap times were amazingly consistent:
Lap 1 - 00:25:19
Lap 2 - 00:25:18
Lap 3 - 00:25:24
Now what would be really amazing would be if my mid-forties legs could get that 25 minutes down to 20 minutes.
