SWAP - either a stem or bars?

I have a Ritchey stem and some Giant compact drop bars.

Unfortunately the stem has a 25.4mm bar clamp, and the bars are 31.8mm, so I can't attach them to each other.

Is anyone interested in a swap of either the bars for 25.4mm ones, or the stem for a 31.8mm one?

The stem is aluminium, 100mm and with a rise - perhaps 15 degress, I'll check.

The bars are 40cm compact drop from a Giant Avail.

I'll get pictures up later - just popping this up now while I think on.

Did you ever get this sorted out?

I've a couple of OS stems in the shed, (both FSA OS150s) but they're +/- 6 degree, and 90mm and 120mm, so possibly not what you're after.

Hi John

Sort of - the Avail bars are lighter, but I've since liberated some from a 1979 Peugeot that do fit in the stem I have:

I haven't measure the angle on mine yet but it looks more than 6 degrees - I can't really test for fit until it's back together (bike was flat barred before).

I would prefer to use the Giant bars though as they're lighter and a nice shape - can I get back to you when I've re-assembeled? The 120 might be ok.

Cheers

Sure, let me know. The 120 has been fitted, but is in good nick. The 90 has never been fitted and is as new. Both have a slightly unusual 36mm stack height (my Giant stem, and the FSA Gossamer I now have are 40mm).
